Sweet Temptation Cakes, est 2017, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Run with heartfelt Passion, Nikkie French, the award-winning business owner, has taken Sweet Temptation Cakes from a home-based business to an entirely new level, not only in cake designing but in the beautiful location setting. With her vison and flare, along with a unique skill for detailing, Nikkie’s cake designs are loved by all.
We are a team of five consisting of Debbie, Our Assistant Manager, Tony, Our Master Baker, Abbie, Our Saturday Assistant, Josiee, Our head of administration. We are proud to hold the following awards:

Nikkie was diagnosed with high-level dyslexia six years ago. After always finding the simple tasks like reading and writing difficult, Nikkie still persevered with her career in the management sector, and despite dyslexia, consistently achieved her goals. Nikkie took to baking as an outlet in 2015, attending a 1-day class.
Nikkie found a new loved and embraced her newfound skillset. From that day, Nikkie booked more classes, even traveling the country to work with some of the best cake designers in the country. The passion grew, and so did the hobby.
In 2017 Nikkie left Her full-time job working at Royal Mail in HR and set up her business in Unit R at Staniforth works. Within six months, the company became so busy that Nikkie expanded and took the adjacent unit, Unit P., along with the extra space came our team members.
